This week you have read from Sound and Sense regarding imagery, simile/metaphor, personification, apostrophe, metonymy/synecdoche, symbol, and allegory. Choose three of the aforementioned devices, and find a song or poem that clearly demonstrates each device. Post each example as a blog post on the ning. Use the device as the title of the post, copy and paste the poem or song with the title and author in the post, and underline the examples of the device. You may not use any poems from Sound and Sense. Please see my post as a model of this assignment.
